You can start your qualification any time. The first step is to enrol and complete a detailed application form. As soon as you have paid we will send you all your learning materials, allocate your personal tutor and register you with he ILM for your chosen qualification. Yes you should be able to have an extension – fees will apply. We don’t give free extensions for personal reasons and your one year study period is fixed from the date of your first induction meeting with your tutor. Extensions aren’t guaranteed and will depend on the amount of progress you have made and the reasons for the extension. Some people just need a couple of months and others need longer. We frequently arrange short extensions for learners on a case by case basis. If you’ve made little progress an extension is unlikely to be granted unless there are exceptional circumstances. All extensions must be applied for in writing and our T&Cs will be sent to you on enrolment to make sure you’re happy with the arrangements.
The one year study period is begins on the date of your first induction meeting with your tutor or within a month of enrolment (whichever is sooner). The 1 year deadline for completion is fixed and if you need more time you will be asked to apply for an extension and fees will be payable. You will also have plenty of tutor support with one of our expereinced team.
You will also have plenty of tutor support. All our tutors are practising coaches and run their own coaching business – they have a wealth of experience to share with you.
Yes, this is part of your qualification and although it can feel daunting, its easy to set up and a great learning opportunity. You will be asked to record a session (with permission from your client) and send it to your tutor. You will be given written feedback and an opportunity to chat about it too. This isn’t an ‘assessment’ of your skills and you won’t be graded. The purpose is to give you developmental feedback – your tutor will focus on what went well and what might help you to improve. You will then include the feedback and your reflection in your practical portfolio.
You will have plenty of email contact with your tutor and also be able to arrange meetings with them for advice. The qualification begins with two meetings (1 hour each) with your tutor to answer all your initial questions and get you started on the qualification. They will help you to create a learner journey for the year with key milestones and flexible interim deadlines. Your tutor will check the first four elements of your theoretical assignment and give you written feedback before you submit for assessment and also be there to answer all your questions during the year. You have up to 12 hours of tutor time, which is far more than most people need.
Firstly we will issue your invoice for either the full fee or the deposit. As soon as this is paid, you will be registered for your chosen ILM qualification and we will send you all your learning materials (books, passwords, induction pack etc). The next step is to have two meetings with your tutor. Each of these will be about an hour long and there will probably be a gap between them of 2-3 weeks. Your tutor will help you create a learner journey for the year, with monthly activities, milestones and the interim deadlines you would like to work towards. Your one year study period with us begins on the date you first meet with your tutor or one month after enrolment, whichever is soonest.
Either is fine, although Level 7 might be important for you in remaining competitive in the market. At inspired2learn our team of tutors are all independent coaches and all run their own business. Some are Level 5 qualified and some Level 7. If senior leaders are part of your client base, you might find that Level 7 is a requirement for some opportunities / frameworks. Give us a call on 01380 888013 and we can explain further and help you to make the best choice.
Level 5 is probably the best choice for coaching at work. In our experience, most internal coaching pools in organisations require the Level 5 qualification for membership. The level 5 coaching qualification is suitable for beginners as well as experienced coaches in the workplace and for a huge variety of job titles and roles. You don’t have to be part of a workplace coaching pool. Maybe you wish to be able to offer coaching to your colleagues more informally. Remember that if you are coaching senior leaders, Level 7 might be the best choice.
We would love to hear from you.

say about us...
“
A warm and friendly environment in all the training sessions

I learnt a huge amount about being a coach
The programme met my objectives because I wanted to become a qualified coach and the inspired2learn course has given me lots of knowledge and skills. This includes NLP, coaching models (neurological levels), self-reflection, contracting requirements, ethics, deep listening, heightened self-awareness and measuring ROI/E. The individuals I have coached have progressed personally, adding value to my organisation. This was a fantastic course, thanks for all of your support – I learnt a huge amount!

I am so fired up!
“Loved everything about the training, the group, Clare’s leadership and guidance of the sessions. Have learnt so much and have so many techniques to use now. Compared notes with a colleague who has been doing her training through our organisation and she is gutted! She said they have just flogged GROW to death with no additional techniques to use alongside it! So fired up!!” Sally, February 2020

Clare helped me achieve a ‘ good pass’ in my first assignment
Studying whilst working in a demanding role, running a busy home and completing assignments after being out of the academic arena for sometime is a challenge. However, Clare helped me achieve a ‘ good pass’ in my first assignment by giving feedback, and signposting me to additional reading material on each section. I could therefore move onto the next section knowing that I was on the right track and could be confident that I would have a good quality finished assignment.

I thought it was excellent
Thank you for delivering a fantastic, engaging enlightening, no nonsense and thought provoking 2 day workshop. I honestly mean it. I thought it was excellent. In terms of a learning experience I couldn’t fault it. The pacing, content, tone and environment you created was so conducive to learning. I learnt SO much and equally as important I have been inspired to want to learn more. You made me feel comfortable outside my comfort zone!! It was great to be with such lovely and interesting people as well. PS. My 80s T Shirt …. “Be the best version of me”….. I don’t think I’ve been it for a while and the last 2 days have genuinely been a call to action for me to be that person again. Thank you

Offered such a great opportunity
The 2 day sessions with Claire offered such a great opportunity to meet others who are on the same journey although at different starting points. It was really thought provoking, inciteful and motivational. It was useful to hear that my feelings of being overwhelmed, didn’t just belong to me!
